The Ray-Ran CNC Model 1 Profile Cutter is a vertical three-axis rapid prototyping milling machine that can be used for many applications, but primarily for the cutting of test samples. It is supplied as standard with serial interface for a personal computer or laptop, and versatile but user friendly Windows Flashcut CNC PC software. This a bench top unit measuring 67 cm wide, 55 cm deep, 78 cm high. Milling on the CNC Test Sample Profile Cutter is a profiling machining process, which means that the cutter is passed around a piece of material and a shape is formed. The spindle is high speed, capable of taking side-loads as well as end loads. It is also capable of moving materials in relation to the spindle in 3D, simultaneous motions. This is all controlled by a personal computer. The CNC Test Sample Profile Cutter’s three table motions are classified X, Y and Z axis, and are standard to most industrial operations. The Ray-Ran CNC Test Sample Profile Cutter is supplied as standard complete with computer interface cabling and Windows Flashcut CNC v2.01 PC software. CNC programs are available at low cost for any shape or size of test sample profile to any International test standard, and may be purchased together with the apparatus or at a later date as required.
